To deepen international cultural exchanges among universities and build a platform for Chinese and international youth to learn from each other, on September 12, ten students from the College of International Education, Harbin Institute of Technology, travelled to Jilin University. They took part in the opening ceremony of the 17th International Culture Festival and the series of performances including the Jilin University: Sentimental Years, Echoing Time Grassland Poetry Concert. With their youthful spirit, they played a moving melody for the integration of Chinese and foreign civilizations.
活动当日上午，队员们走进长春一汽开启研学之行。大家先后参观品牌展馆与现代化生产厂区，循着中国汽车工业的发展轨迹驻足感悟。从新中国第一辆解放牌汽车驶出生产线的历史性时刻，到如今智能车间里机械臂精准有序作业的智造图景，一段自力更生、创新突围的发展画卷徐徐铺展。
On the morning of the event, , the team members embarked on a study tour to FAW Group in Changchun. They visited the brand exhibition hall and modern production workshops, pausing to reflect on the development trajectory of China’s automobile industry. From the historic moment when the first Jiefang automobile rolled off the production line in the People’s Republic of China, to today’s intelligent workshops where robotic arms operate with precise and orderly movements, a picture of self-reliance and innovative breakthroughs unfolded before their eyes.

In the afternoon of the same day, the 17th International Culture Festival of Jilin University officially opened. Our students took to the stage as the opening act. The team members presented an elegant Chinese dance performance. With graceful and nimble movements, the show fully demonstrated the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture, as well as the vibrant spirit of international students. Their wonderful performance drew warm applause from teachers and students present, marking a splendid start for the whole culture festival.
